Jumanji: The Next Level When a disillusioned college student (Alex Wolff) renters the dangerous video game after returning home to New Hampshire for the holidays and his concerned teenage friends (Morgan Turner, Ser'Darius Blain, and Madison Iseman), his whiny grandfather (Danny DeVito), and his angry grandfather's former business partner (Danny Glover) end up reentering Jumanji to rescue him in this wacky, funny, entertaining, pratfall, action-packed, well-paced, star-studded (Nick Jonas, Colin Hanks, Marin Hinkle, Bebe Neuwirth, Dania Ramirezki, John Ross, Rhys Darby, and Massi Furlan), 116-minute comedy, they once again have switched bodies (Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, Awkwafina, and Colin Hanks) as avatars to save the world of Jumanji from an evil tyrant (Rory McCann) by finding a precious stone and bringing it back into the sunlight.
