When an artistic, bird-loving, lesbian, 16-year-old, Spanish wannabe teacher (Zaira Romero), who lives with her devoutly religious, traditional parents (Moreno Borja and Rafaela León) and younger brother (Lucas Heredia) in Madrid, realizes she is attracted to her wannabe-hairdresser, 17-year-old gypsy cousin (Rosy Rodriguez), who is engaged to her Roma fiancé (Juan José Jiménez), in Arantxa Echevarría's engaging, colorful, down-to-Earth, coming-of-age, 2018, 105-minute film, her life and that of her family is turned upside down and becomes the focus of ridicule in their highly conservative, prejudicial community.
