Before You Know It After their feisty, no longer successful actor/playwright father (Mandy Patinkin) suddenly dies of a massive heart attack in 1993 in this offbeat, low-key, well-acted, down-to-earth, star-studded (Alec Baldwin, Mike Colter, Tim Daly, and Linda Arroz), 98-minute comedy, his two grown daughters (Hannah Pearl Utt and Jen Tullock), one of whom has a cheeky, 12-year-old daughter (Oona Yaffe), live above their Greenwich Village independent community theater and then shockingly discover that their quirky, flamboyant mother (Judith Light) they long thought dead is actually alive, stars in a daytime soap opera, and now owns the theater per their dad's outdated will.
