Brittany Runs a Marathon A down-to-earth, factually based, evenly paced, inspirational, quirky, 103-minute comedy that follows overweight, hard-partying, 28-year-old theater employee Brittany Forgler (Jillian Bell), who lives in New York City with a shallow roommate (Alice Lee), as she decides to get into better shape after a visit to her physician (Patch Darragh), joins a Saturday morning jogging group (Micha Stock, et al.) with her divorced, photographer upstairs neighbor (Michaela Watkins), begins an unusual relationship with an Indian artist (Uktarsh Ambudkar) she meets while dog sitting, and eventually is determined to train to compete in the 26-mile New York City Marathon.
