Once upon a Time...in Hollywood

While an alcoholic, popular, aging television star (Leonardo DiCaprio) deals with his own insecurities and inner demons and resorts to making spaghetti westerns in Italy on the advice of a casting agent (Al Pacino) in 1969 in this corny, Oscar-nominated, hilarious, well-acted, entertaining, well-written, star-studded (Bruce Dern, Kurt Russell, Margot Robbie, Emile Hirsch,Zoƫ Bell, Olyphant, Damien Lewis, Michael Madsen, Scoot McNairy, Clifton Collins Jr., Luke Perry, Rumer Willis, Mike Moh, Rebecca Gayheart, et al.), drawn out, 165-minute Quentin Tarantino comedic satire, his supportive, loyal, war veteran, right-hand best friend and stunt double (Brad Pitt), who lives in a rundown trailer with his pitbull in Van Nuys, tries to keep his volatile friend on the straight and narrow and eventually vindictive Manson family hippies (Austin Butler, Dakota Fanning, Margaret Qualley, and Lena Dunham) plot a night of terror and a few head to the star's home with murder on their messed up minds.
