Equalizer 2, The After his close friend (Melissa Leo) is murdered while investigating the brutal killing of a couple in Brussels, Belgium, in this intriguing, violent, well-acted, suspenseful, star-dotted (Bill Pullman, Orson Bean, Pedro Pascal, Jonathan Scarfe, and Sakina Jaffrey), 129-minute thriller highlighted by tension-relieving humor and terrific fight choreography, a retired, OCD-plagued FBI agent (Denzel Washington) in Boston searches for those responsible for her death while trying to stir an artistic African-American teenager (Ashton Sanders) out of gang life after returning a young girl (Rhys Olivia Cote) to her mother (Lexie Roth) who was kidnapped by her father and taken to Turkey and confronting a group of crass businessmen who assaulted a woman.
