So Sorry to Bother You

A wacky, oddball, satirical, star-studded (Terry Crews, Patton Oswalt, Omari Hardwick, Robert Longstreet, and David Cross), 105-minute comedy in which a charismatic, ambitious African American (Lakeith Stanfield), who lives with his performance artist fiancée (Tessa Thompson) in the garage of his broke uncle (Danny Glover) in California, goes to work for a telemarketing firm with other team member salesmen (Jermaine Fowler, Forest Whitaker, Steven Yeun, et al.) and suddenly finds himself promoted to a "power caller" and allowed to enter the golden elevator door where he is offered $100 million by his cocaine-snorting boss (Armand Douglas Hammer) to accept a job he cannot believe.
