Fantastic Woman, A After a wannabe-singing waitress (Daniela Vega) in Santiago rushes her divorced textile business partner and longtime lover (Francisco Reyes) to the hospital and he tragically succumbs to a brain aneurysm in this Oscar-winning, emotionally intense, touching, well-acted, intriguing, 104-minute film, she ends being terribly mistreated by the Chilean detective (Amparo Noguera) investigating the case and her lover's ex-wife (Aline Kuppenheim) and horrible family (Nicolás Saavedra, Luis Gnecco, et al.).
