Ferdinand A touching, charming, family-oriented, entertaining, colorful, 3D, star-studded (voiceovers by Bobby Cannavale, Kate McKinnon, Anthony Anderson, David Tennant, Gina Rodriguez, Peyton Manning, Daveed Diggs, and Gabriel Iglesias), 106-minute, animated comedy based Munro Leaf's and Robert Lawson's novel The Story of Ferdinand in which a gentle, dancing, flower-loving, giant bull (voiceover by John Cena) escapes the bullying and dangers at a Spanish ranch after his dad (voiceover by Jeremy Sisto) never returns from the bullring in Madrid, is adopted by a kindhearted girl (voiceover by Lily Day) and her father (voiceover by Juanes), and eventually ends up in the arena with an ambitious bullfighting matador (voiceover by Miguel Ángel Silvestre) he does not want to fight and wins over the crowd.
