Star Wars: The Last Jedi While a lightsaber-wielding Resistance fighter (Daisy Ridley) tries to convince Master Jedi Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) to come out of retirement from his mysterious island refuge to help the Resistance in this action-packed, entertaining, thrilling, well-acted, dark, violent, twist-filled, star-studded (Benicio Del Toro, Tom Hardy, Justin Theroux, Lupito Nyong'o, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt), 152-minute sci-fi sequel highlighted by witty humor and terrific special effects, the Resistance general (Carrie Fisher) and her valiant fighters (Oscar Isaac, John Boyega, Kelly Marie Tran, Laura Dern, Billie Lourd, Peter Mayhew, Warwick Davis, Anthony Daniels, Jimmy Vee, et al.) desperately attempt to defeat the Supreme Leader (voiceover by Andy Serkis) and the power-hungry members of the First Order (Adam Driver, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, et al.) after their home base is destroyed.
