Same Kind of Different As Me

When a wealthy, international art dealer (Greg Kinnear), who has two teenagers (Austin Filson and Geraldine Singer), tries to reconnect with his compassionate wife (Renée Zellweger) to improve their strained relationship in this factually based, well-acted, inspirational, heartbreaking, powerful, star-studded (Jon Voight, Olivia Holt, Stephanie Leigh Schlund, and Thomas Francis Murphy), 119-minute film based on Denver Moore's, Ron Hall's, and Lynn Vincent's 2006 bestselling novel, he reluctantly joins his selfless, caring wife to volunteer at a local mission in Texas to help homeless people and eventually the couple develops an amazing, close friendship with an angry homeless African-American man (Djimon Hounsou) that changes all of their lives.
