Breathe

After 28-year-old Englishman Robin Cavendish (Andrew Garfield) is stricken with polio in 1959 while with his wife (Claire Foy) in Nairobi in Andy Serkis's inspirational, factually based, heartwarming, well-acted, 117-minute film highlighted by terrific cinematography and based on Tim Winton's novel, he returns home to England with his wife and newborn son and after struggling with depression, he eventually becomes instrumental in helping thousands of disabled people to live rather than just survive with the help of his wife's twin brothers (Tom Hollander) and the inventiveness of a mechanically inclined friend (Hugh Bonneville) to design a wheelchair with a built-in respirator that would allow some patients to leave their hospital beds.
