Geostorm When a sophisticated satellite system called Dutch Boy used to control the increasingly violent weather across the globe becomes infected with a virus in this action-paced, special effects heavy, predictable, 3D, star-studded (Ed Harris, Andy Garcia, Richard Schiff, Abbie Cornish, Mara Winningham, Daniel Wu, Robert Sheenan, and Eugenio González Derbez), 109-minute thriller, the cocky, divorced system architect (Gerard Butler), who has a smart daughter (Talitha Eliana Bateman) who lives with him in Florida, heads to the international weather spacestation to investigate and to fix the problem before a series of catastrophic storms decimate the Earth after his estranged brother (Jim Sturgess) fired him from the project three years earlier.
