Jealousy, guilt, and secrets run rampant after a 25-year-old, wannabe writer, recent college graduate (Callum Turner) discovers that his wealthy publisher father (Pierce Brosnan) is cheating on his artistic, depressed, guilt-ridden wife (Cynthia Nixon) in New York with a gorgeous coworker (Kate Beckinsale) in this low-key, languid-paced, psychological, 98-minute film based on Allan Loeb's novel, he disappoints his best friend (Kiersey Clemons) by sleeping with his father's mistress himself and then learns a long-buried secret from an eccentric, alcoholic writer (Jeff Bridges) in his Manhattan apartment building.
