Okja

Over-the-top characters dominate this poignant, disturbing, thought-provoking, gut-wrenching, 118-minute satire in which a South Korean orphan (Ahn Seo-Hyun), who lives with her grandfather in the mountains, follows her smart, endearing, genetically engineered, gargantuan superpig to New York City to rescue her friend with the help of the Animal Liberation Front members (Paul Dano, Lily Collins, Steven Yeun, Daniel Henshall, and Devon Bostick) who plan on exposing the cruel experiments being performed in a laboratory and shutting down the slaughter house where hundreds of massive, intelligent swine are being killed and packaged by a profit hungry, multi-national CEO (Tilda Swinton) and her lackeys (Jake Gyllenhaal, Giancarlo Esposito, Shirley Henderson, et al.).
