Lion After a five-year-old Indian boy (Sunny Pawar) gets separated from his older brother (Abhishek Bharate), is trapped on a train to Calcutta 1,600 kilometers from his home in 1986, and eventually is adopted by a caring Tasmanian couple (Nicole Kidman and David Wenham) in this Oscar-nominated, poignant, heartbreaking, gut-wrenching, factually based, 2-hour film based on Saroo Brierley's novel A Long Way Home, he finds himself haunted by his memories and desperate to locate his mother (Priyanka Bose), brother, and sister (Khushi Solanki) 25 years later as an adult (Dev Patel) by using Google Earth to trace his tumultuous journey and returns to India in February 2012.
