Loving

After Virginia bricklayer Richard Loving (Joel Edgerton) of few words married his pregnant African-American girlfriend Mildred (Ruth Negga) in 1958 in the District of Columbia and they are arrested in Virginia because there are in interracial couple in this factually based, ire-inducing, well-acted, star-dotted (Michael Shannon, Marton Csokas, Will Dalton, and Bill Camp), 123-minute film based on Jeff Nichols's novel, ACLU lawyer Bernard S. Cohen (Nick Kroll) contacts the couple five years later to represent them in what he hopes with be a landmark Supreme Court case.
