Light Between Oceans, The

After losing two babies between 1918 and 1922 in this bittersweet, heartbreaking, well-acted, beautifully photographed, 132-minuite based on M.L. Stedman's novel, a Commonwealth lighthouse keeper (Michael Fassbender) and his gorgeous wife (Alicia Vikander) living on an isolated island end up finding an infant and a deceased man in a rowboat off the coast of Western Australia, hastily decide to raise the baby girl as their own, and then discover that the widowed mother (Rachel Weisz) of the blonde girl (Florence Clery) is alive and estranged from her wealthy father (Bryan Brown).
