Ben-Hur

When a prominent, wealthy Jewish prince (Jack Huston) takes the blame for an arrow attack on a high-ranking Roman Army officer (James Cosmo) by a tenacious zealot (Moises Arias) in 28 A.D. and his well-respected, adopted brother (Toby Kebbell), who left Jerusalem to become a Centurion, charges him with treason and arrests his mother (Sofia Black D'Elia) and sister (Ayslet Zurer) in this attention-grabbing, gut-wrenching, superbly acted, well-paced, violent, 3D, 123-minute remake of the 1959 classic, he ends up as a slave rowing on a ship for five years, eventually challenges his brother to compete in a brutal chariot race in the arena with the support and teaching of a rich, knowledgeable African (Morgan Freeman), and finds solace and peace in his life after meeting Jesus (Rodrigo Santoro) and watching him crucified.
