Ghostbusters

When a bullied, disgruntled, brilliant hotel serviceman (Neil Casey) builds devices in New York City that allow menacing ghosts to enter our dimension in this wacky, mildly amusing, disappointing, unevenly paced, 3D, star-studded (Bill Murray, Charles Dance, Ed Begley Jr., Andy Garcia, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts, Jane Fonda, Sigourney Weaver, Elizabeth Perkins, Michael Kenneth Williams, Ozzie Osbourne, Al Roker, Matt Walsh, and Cecily Strong), 116-minute remake of the 1984 classic comedy, a paranormal writer/scientist (Melissa McCarthy), a Columbia physics professor (Kristen Wiig), a subway teller (Leslie Jones), and an inventive engineer (Kate McKinnon), supported by a dimwitted receptionist (Chris Hemsworth), team up to rid the city of slime-spewing spirits.
