Man Who Knew Infinity, The Gorgeous cinematography highlights this captivating, factually based, thought-provoking, 108-minute, 2015 biographical film based on Robert Kanigel's 1991 book The Man Who Knew Infinity: A Life of the Genius Ramanujan in which astonishingly brilliant Hindu mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan Iyengar (Dev Patel), who is working as a clerk in an accounting department, leaves his wife (Devika Bhise) and mother in Madras, India, in 1914 to go to England to work with hardnosed Cambridge University professor G.H. Hardy (Jeremy Irons) to publish his prime number theories and finds himself struggling to fit in while being accepted by some professors (Toby Jones, Stephen Fry, and Jeremy Northam) and rejected by those who are threatened.
