Risen A religious, engaging, well-acted, emotional, 147-minute film that follows a well-respected Roman Military Tribune (Joseph Fiennes), who was involved in the crucifixion, as he and his aide (Tom Felton) in 33 A.D. desperately search for the body of Jesus (Cliff Curtis) after his alleged resurrection per the order of a nervous Pontius Pilate (Peter Firth) and then has a spiritual awakening when he finds the Messiah alive among his disciples (Antonio Gil, Stewart Scudamore, Jan Cornet, Joe Manjón, Stavros Demetraki, Mish Boyko, Manu Fullola, et al.) and Mary Magdalene (Maria Bello).
