My All American An inspirational, factually based, family-friendly, heartbreaking, 118-minute film in which talented, much-loved football player Freddie Steinmark (Finn Wittrock), who lives with his devoted parents (Michael Reilly Burke and Robin Tunney) in Colorado, is offered a full scholarship by coach Darrell K. Royal (Aaron Eckhart) in 1967 to play for the Longhorns at Texas State University in Austin where he excels and makes future plans with his best friend (Rett Terrell) and supportive high school sweetheart (Sarah Bolger) until tragedy strikes.
