Experimenter

An unevenly paced, factually inspired, star-studded (Winona Ryder, John Leguizamo, Kellan Lutz, Anthony Edwards, Dennis Haysbert, Anton Yelchin, Lori Singer, and Taryn Manning), 90-minute film in which Yale psychologist Dr. Stanley Milgram (Peter Sarsgaard) and his colleagues (Josh Hamilton and Jim Gaffigan) were conducting experiments in 1961 that tested how participants obeyed authority figures when the volunteer designated as the "teacher" is instructed to give increasing electric shocks to the "learner" when they answered questions incorrectly.
