Big Stone Gap

A feel-good, entertaining, star-studded (Whoopi Goldberg, Jenna Elfman, Chris Sarandon, Jane Krakowski, Anthony LaPaglia, Jasmine Guy, Judith Ivey, John Benjamin Hickey, and Mary Pat Gleason), 103-minute film in which a headstrong, 35-year-old, Italian pharmacist (Ashley Judd), who ignores the advances of a smitten coalminer (Patrick Wilson), living in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia changes the course of her life in 1978 when she discovers after the death of her mother (Angelina Fiordellisi) that the father she knew what not her biological dad.
