Max After a Marine (Robbie Arnell) is killed in the Middle East in this gut-wrenching, heartwarming, family-friendly, inspirational, 111-minute, adventure film, his rebellious younger brother (Josh Wiggins), who lives with his parents (Lauren Graham and Thomas Haden Church) in Texas, reluctantly takes his brother's grieving German shepherd service dog under his wing, and when a dishonorably discharged Marine (Luke Kleintank) gets involved in criminal activity and threatens the lives of his two best friends (Mia Xitlali and Degon LaQuake) and his family, the faithful canine comes to the rescue.
