Slow West An engaging, creative, violent, unpredictable, surprising, well-written, 84-minute western film dotted with terrific cinematography and humor that follows the arduous journey of a naïve, tenacious 16-year-old Scot (Kodi Smith-McPhee) who meets a gruff drifter (Michael Fassbender) in 1870 while traveling through Colorado to find his beloved (Caren Pistorius), but he runs into numerous bounty hunters (Ben Mendelsohn, Erroll Shand, Madeleine Sami, Michael Whalley, et al.) trying to claim a $2,000 reward on her head and that of her father (Rory McCann).
