Monument to Michael Jackson

When a tenacious Serbian barber (Boris Milivojevic), who is estranged from his redheaded, bored wife (Natasa Tapuskovic), concocts a harebrained scheme to perk up his dying town in Macedonia in 2009 by having a bronze statute built of Michael Jackson and placed in the town's square with the help of his skeptical friends (Dragan Bjelogrlic, Toni Mihajlovski, et al.) in this engaging, delightful, creative, funny, wacky, 95-mintue, 2014 comedy, his ambitious plans go off the rails when the mayor (Branislav Trifunovic) does not give his blessing and a group of Michael Jackson haters protest.
