Woman in Gold

An engaging, factually based, well-acted, star-studded (Katie Holmes, Elizabeth McGovern, Charles Dane, Frances Fisher, and Jonathan Pryce), 109-minute film based on E. Randol Schoenberg novel in which headstrong, elderly, Jewish Austrian clothing boutique owner Maria Altmann (Helen Mirren) hires a tenacious Los Angeles attorney (Ryan Reynolds) to reclaim her family's valuable Gustav Klimt painting of her gorgeous aunt (Antje Traue) known as "Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer," which was stolen by the Nazis from her home during WWII, and when they end up traveling to her hometown of Vienna, she ends up reminiscing about her childhood and marriage to a handsome opera singer (Max Irons) as they are helped by an investigative reporter (Daniel Brühl) to take on the daunting task of suing the Austrian government.
