Salvation, The When a revenge-driven, grief-stricken former Danish soldier (Mads Mikkelsen) shoots two sadistic, coldblooded killers who brutally raped and murdered his gorgeous wife (Nanna Øland Fabricius) along with their 10-year-old son (Toke Lars Bjarke) in 1871 in the Wild West in this intense, dark, violent, action-packed, bullet-laden, 92-minute, 2014, Danish western, he and his brother (Mikael Persbrandt) must defend themselves from a psychopathic, villainous gang leader (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and his followers (Eric Cantona, Sean Cameron Michael, Chad Sapire, et al.) are hell bent on retaliation at any cost and start by indiscriminately and unfairly terrorizing innocent townsfolk (Eva Green, Jonathan Pryce, Alexander Arnold, et al.) paralyzed with fear while the sheriff (Douglas Henshall) stands idly by.
