Blue Room, The

A blue hotel room and a blue-tinged courtroom take center stage in this moody, dark, terse, tense, nonlinear, 76-minute psychological thriller based on Georges Simenson's 1964 mystery novella in which a French farming equipment representative (Mathieu Amalric), who has a beautiful blonde wife (Léa Drucker) and a young daughter (Mona Jaffart), has an erotic affair with a sultry mistress (Stéphanie Cléau), who has a sickly pharmacist husband (Olivier Mauvezin), and ends up on trial for murder.
