X-Men: Days of Future Past When mutants (Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Halle Berry, Anna Pacquin, Shawn Ashmore, and Evan Peters) and humans are near extinction in the future due to monstrous sentinel killing machines created by a power-hungry scientist (Peter Dinklage) in this entertaining, action-packed, fast-paced, star-studded (Kelsey Grammer, Famke Janssen, Lucas Till, Mark Camacho, and James Marsden), 3D, prequel thriller dominated by terrific special effects, a mutant (Ellen Page) sends claw-savvy Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) back to 1973 where he enlists the help of professor Charles Xavier (James McAvoy), Magneto (Michael Fassbender), and The Beast (Nicholas Hoult) to stop blue-skinned Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) from killing the scientist in order to prevent a war-torn, decimated future.
