Son of God A run-of-the-mill, melodramatic, 138-minute, watered-down version of the Mark Burnett's and Roma Downey's 2013 television miniseries The Bible, which is narrated by Sebastian Knapp, that follows Jesus (Diogo Margado) as he roams the countryside with his disciples (Matthews Gravelle, Joe Wredden, Idrissa Sisco, Said Bey, Nouredinne Aberdine, et al.), raises Lazarus (Anas Chenin), preaches to the masses to the chagrin of Pharisee Caiaphas (Adrian Schiller) and Pontius Pilate (Greg Hicks), and finally to his Crucifixion and Resurrection.
