Space Junk 3D

Tom Wilkinson narrates this educational, visually intriguing, 3D, 38-minute, 2012 IMAX documentary about scientists, including former NASA scientist Don Kessler, who monitor the tons of man-made debris that orbits 22,000 miles above the Earth traveling at 17,000 mph and all meteors that near our planet, especially any object that threatens the lives of astronauts living in the International Space Station (ISS), and their growing concern over how to control the increasing amount of "space junk" in an effort to avoid collisions such as the one in February 2009 when Iridium 33 communications satellite and the defunct Russian Cosmos satellite collided.
