World's End, The When a mentally unstable, juvenile, pint-swigging Brit (Simon Pegg) convinces four longtime, reluctant friends (Martin Freeman, Eddie Marsan, Paddy Considine, and Nick Frost) to return to Newton Haven after twenty-three years to attempt the golden mile where they drink at twelve pubs, including The First Pint, The Old Familiar, The Famous Cock, The Good Companions, The Trusty Servant, The Two Headed Hog, The Mermaid, The Beehive, The King's Head, and The World's End, in this over-top-comedy, silly, intermittently funny, star-dotted (Pierce Brosnan, Rosamund Pike, and Bill Nighy), 109-minute comedy, the pub crawl expectedly does not go as planned as the friends confront unworldly robots.
