Lovelace

A heartbreaking, insightful, factually based, tasteful, star-dotted (Eric Roberts, James Franco, Chloƫ Sevigny, Bobby Cannavale, Chris Noth, Juno Temple, Debi Mazar, and Adam Brody), 92-minute film, which was inspired by Linda Marchiano's autobiography Ordeal, that chronicles twelve years in her life as abused, iconoclastic porn star Linda Lovelace (Amanda Seyfried); her instant rise to fame after leaving her apathetic parents (Sharon Stone and Robert Patrick) in Florida in 1970 and starring in the internationally popular film Deep Throat eagerly directed by film director Gerard Damiano (Hank Azaria); marrying her charismatic, manipulative, severally abusive husband Jerry Traynor (Peter Sarsgaard); and finally getting the courage to escape him and live a happy life with her new husband (Wes Bentley) and son until her death from injuries sustained in car accident in April 2002.
