Romantics, The When the jealous maid of honor (Katie Holmes) arrives for the wedding of her best friend and longtime rival (Anna Paquin) and joins bridesmaids (Malin Akerman, Dianna Argon, and Rebecca Lawrence Levy), the mother of the bride (Candice Bergen), and other nuptial attendees (Elijah Wood, Adam Brody, Jeremy Strong, Rosemary Murphy, et al.) in this lackluster, predictable, 96-minute, 2010 film based on Galt Niederhoffer's novel, the atmosphere becomes increasingly intense, emotionally charged, hostile, and awkward as her feelings for the groom (Josh Duhamel) surface.
