Upstream Color An extremely odd, nearly incomprehensible, disconnected, pretentious, artsy, love-it-or-hate-it, 96-minute film in which a woman (Amy Seimetz), who now works at a shower curtain factory after being fired from her job for absenteeism, and her new lover (Shane Carruth) try to make sense of their lives after being kidnapped, hypnotized, and having their money stolen by a mysterious thief (Thiago Martins).
