White House Down

While on a tour of the White House with his smart, cheeky daughter (Joey King) after an unsuccessful job interview with a Secret Service officer (Maggie Gyllenhaal) for a Secret Service job in this action-packed, fast-paced, tension-relieving humor, suspenseful, violent, twist-filled, start-studded (Richard Jenkins, Matt Craven, Jake Webber, Michael Murphy, Rachelle Lefevre, Garcelle Beauvais, and Nicolas Wright), 125-minute thriller, a Capitol policeman (Channing Tatum) ends up protecting the president (Jamie Foxx) when the grieving head of the Secret Service (James Woods) and a group of disgruntled Americans (Jason Clarke, Jimmi Simpson, Kevin Rankin, Kyle Gatehouse, et al.) take over the White House and begin a series of demands, including $400 million from the Federal Reserve; maybe too violent for some children.
