A fascinating, informative, 86-minute, 2011 documentary, which is based on recorded conversations with writer George Plimpton as he coauthored the D.V. autobiography, that showcases the phenomenal 50-year career of legendary, feisty, innovative, no-nonsense, outspoken, independent, colorful fashion designer and editor Diana Vreeland (1903-1998), who was often referred to as the high priestess of fashion, and consists of hundreds of archival photographs; snippets of television interviews with David Frost, Dick Cavett, Diane Sawyer, and Jane Pauley; and interviews with Yves Saint Laurent cofounder Pierre Bergé, Diana's personal librarian Kurt Thometz, former Vogue assistant Felicity Clark, fashion designers (such as Carolina Herrera, Diane von Fürstenberg, Oscar de la Renta.
