Sightseers

Gorgeous scenery and cinematography highlight this wacky, unexpectedly dark, 88-minute, 2012 comedy in which a 34-year-old British woman (Alice Lowe), who lives with her troublesome mother (Eileen Davies), learns more about herself when she goes on vacation with a psychotic, hotheaded, wannabe writer (Steve Oram) and end up on a killing spree throughout the idyllic English countryside nonchalantly murdering irritating tourists, including a pudgy litterer (Tony Way), a smug amateur photographer (Jonathan Aries), a bicyclist (Richard Glover), a blunt environmentalist (Richard Lumsden), a jogger (Gareth Jones), and a bride-to-be (Rachel Austin).
