Pain & Gain Mayhem ensues in this wacky, funny, factually based, action-packed, well-paced, violent, highly entertaining, star-dotted (Ed Harris, Rob Corrdy, Revel Wilson, Peter Stormare, Michael Rispoli, and Ken Jeong), 130-minute comedy in which three dimwitted, incompetent, money-hungry bodybuilders (Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson, and Anthony Mackie) run amok in Miami between Oct. 1994 and June 1995 as they take a reckless, moronic shortcut to obtain the American dream by kidnapping a wealthy, Jewish deli owner (Tony Shalhoub), who seemingly has nine lives, and coercing him into signing over his wealth.
