Like Someone in Love

In this quirky, low-key, oddly touching, 105-minute film, a shy Japanese undergraduate student (Rin Takanashi) in sociology, who moonlights as a prostitute in Tokyo, finds herself in a predicament when her curious, mechanic fiancé (Ry? Kase) unexpectedly ends up talking with her elderly, soft-spoken, grandfatherly, widowed client (Tadashi Okuno), who is a retired sociology professor and now spends his solitary days writing and translating books and cooking.
