Details, The A quirky, highly unusual, disjointed, unpredictable, 91-minute, 2011 Aaron Estes dark comedy in the vein of A Serious Man in which an Internet porn-cruising Seattle obstetrician (Tobey Maguire) who has a young child (Miles Ellenwood) and a wandering eye finds himself in a downward spiral when his backyard becomes infested with mischievous raccoons, he cheats on his apathetic wife (Elizabeth Banks) of 10 years with a feline-loving, crazy, neurotic neighbor (Laura Linney) and a longtime colleague (Kerry Washington), and then tries to redeem himself and make amends by donating his kidney to a devout African-American basketball coach and friend (Dennis Haysbert) after a disgruntled husband (Ray Liotta) blackmails him for sleeping with his wife.
