Stand Up Guys After his best friend (Al Pacino) is released from a 28-year-stint in prison for accidentally killing the son of a grieving, vindictive mobster (Mark Margolis) in this hilarious, highly entertaining, well-written Fisher Stevens' comedy, a painting-loving, retired con man (Christopher Walken) must decide whether to carry out a hit on his best friend while they spend his first day out of the joint reminiscing, stealing a car, eating at a diner where his unsuspecting granddaughter (Addison Timlin) works, partying with a madam (Lucy Punch), and busting their longtime buddy (Alan Arkin), whose daughter (Julianna Margulies) is a nurse, out of a nursing home for a rowdy night of reckless fun.
