Little Chenier: A Cajun Story

After a straight-arrow, kindhearted Louisiana sheriff (Chris Mulkey) dies and his jealous deputy son (Jeremy Davidson), whose wife (Tamara Braun) has a wandering eye, assumes the role of sheriff in this heartbreaking, well-acted, gritty, 100-minute, 2006 film, a bayou bait shop owner (Johnathon Schaech) cares for his mentally challenged brother (Frederick Koehler) and tries to protect him from their estranged, widowed, alcoholic father (Marshall Bill) and the vindictive sheriff with the help of a close friend (Clifton Collins, Jr.).
