Flat, The

After the death of his 98-year-old, widowed Jewish grandmother in Tel Aviv who escaped with her Zionist husband to Palestine 50 years earlier from Nazi-occupied Germany in this interesting, 97-minute, 2011 documentary narrated by Axel Milberg, Israeli filmmaker Arnon Goldfinger delves into the lives of his grandparents when his mother, siblings, and a cousin begin to sift through her belongings, including many gloves and purses, letters and photos written or taken during the Holocaust, and surprisingly Nazi propaganda.
