Mission Kashmir

Striking cinematography dominates this well-acted, engaging, action-packed, 157-minute, 2000 film in which an 11-year-old Indian boy (Master Mohsin) and a family friend (Heenaa Biswas/Preity Zinta) watch a masked police officer (Sanjay Dutt) and his men (Vineet Sharma, Abhay Chopra, et al.) who are searching for a terrorist (Puru Rajkumar) murder his parents (Rajeev Saxena and Gopi Desai) and sister(Najjo) in 1989, and when the traumatized child is then adopted by the reluctant investigative cop and his grieving wife (Sonali Kulkarni) who lost their 9-year-old son (Master Yogin Soni) after a terrible accident and later learns that his adopted father was the man responsible for the unjust murder of his birth parents, it sets the vindictive, traumatized adult (Hrithik Roshan), who is now with a Jihad terrorist (Jackie Shroff) and his gang (Chandan Bisht, et al.), on a course of revenge 10 years later.
