An imaginative movie that consists of seven short films: (1) The Procession — When a grieving daughter (Lucy Punch) asks her controlling mother (Lily Tomlin) and brother (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) to attend a funeral of a woman they never met in this hilarious, 12.5-minute, dark 2012 film, bickering ensues while attempting to ditch a string of cars that are erroneously following them to the cemetery; (2) Steve — A strange, tea-loving Brit (Colin Firth) awkwardly tries to get acquainted with his downstairs neighbors (Keira Knightley and Tom Mison) in this delightfully quirky, 16-minute 2011 comedy by claiming that his ceiling is leaking, that the couple keeps him awake by playing loud music late at night, and that the postman is delivering mail to the wrong London apartment; (3) Not Your Time — After his mother (Kathy Najimy) took him to a Broadway musical as a child in this unusual, creative, satirical, 25-minute, star-filled (Sally Kirkland, Sean Patrick Flaherty, and Valarie Pettiford) 2011 film, a musical-loving New York screenwriter (Jason Alexander) has spent 25 years struggling to produce his own musical; (4) Sexting — A beautiful blonde (Julia Stiles) commiserates about her neglectful, married boyfriend in this creative, 8-minute 2010 film by meeting his wife (Marin Ireland) for coffee; (5) Prodigal — A convoluted, 25-minute film in which worried parents (Winter Ave Zoli and Travis Crim) try to protect their supernaturally gifted 10-year-old daughter (Jade Pettyjohn) from mysterious agents (Kenneth Branagh and Jennifer Morrison) of a clandestine organization anxious to exploit her abilities; (6) After-School Special — While watching her son (Sam Cohen) play at a colorful gym in a restaurant in this unusual, 9-minute 2010 film, a mother (Sarah Paulson) meets a single dad (Wes Bentley) with a young daughter (Moira O'Nan); and (7) Friend Request Pending — A delightfully charming, 12.5-minute in which a nervous elderly Englishwoman (Judi Dench) is encouraged by her friend (Penny Ryder) to reconnect via the Internet with a handsome choirmaster (Philip Jackson) with whom she had dinner.
