Looper When a grieving executioner (Bruce Willis) in 2074 time travels 30 years back in time to Kansas after the death of his beloved wife (Qing Xu) to kill a child (Pierce Gagnon) with powerful telekinetic abilities who grows up to be a feared overlord known as "The Rainmaker" in this quirky, uneven, violent, futuristic, sci-fi, star-dotted (Emily Blunt, Paul Dano, Garrett Dillahunt, Piper Perabo, et al.) thriller, he is hunted down by his younger counterpart (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), who must "close the loop" and fulfill his contract to a mob boss (Jeff Daniels).
